They were very quick to inflate, quick to deflate, and easy to roll up to pack for the next trip.Winners... who knew?Now YOU do.Update.The review above was written during the summer.The mattresses were since stored in a covered tub in our hot Florida attic for many months until being pulled out for a Thanksgiving camping trip.Once again these mattresses held up to the teenager test.They were just as supple and fresh as the first day out of the box.I'm really happy with these and plan to use them again in another few months.

I bought this to have in Iraq since Army mattresses pretty much suck.Well this little number is really easy to inflate and very comfortable.It inflates very quickly with the included pump.The only negative thing about this is that the quick release cap can pop off when the mattress is fully inflated and happens to rub up on something like the edge of the bed frame.Not a problem if you plan on using it on the floor for camping or a flat bed with no bed frame that stands above it.It is very cheap even with the delivery fee and even arrived within 9 days all the way to Iraq!The material seems durable and so far it only seems to need a slight refill every few days, but I am a big guy and that could be the reason why it looses a little air.

I have been using similar type covers forabout 5 years now, and they have dramatically reduced the need to usemy rescue inhaler and I have been able to reduce the dose of myprescription inhaled medicine.I always recommend to my patients that they also address addresslifestyle/environmental factors in managing their asthma and allergysymptoms. In many cases, they may eliminate the need for or reduce thedosage of prescription meds they must take to manage theirasthma/alllergy symptoms. I just moved back to Chicago, and bought anew mattress, and I immediately purchased a mattress cover. I havebeen using the cover for over a week now, and am extremely happy withthe results. The cover I had used before worked well at helping myasthma symptoms, but it was very rough fabric that was noisy to sleepon, and was very hot to sleep on. The material was more vinyl like,and basically trapped heat the way a leather couch does in the summer.These newer covers have a much nicer material that is breathable anddoes not make the "crinkling" sound as you move around in bed.An interesting feature about this cover is the extra piece of fabricthat covers the zipper from the inside. My older cover did not havethis, which means that any dust mite allergens were free to pass outof the cover through the zipper. I'm not sure if this has made adifference, but it certainly makes sense.The product is very sturdily constructed, and the seams are doublereinforced. I can't speak to the bed bug function, but those of us inhealth care have for years known the benefit of these covers to thosesuffering from asthma and allergies. I should have gotten a base and just put this thing on it and saved myself 2 grand.In the couch mode, it is VERY comfortable.It can be squeaky as plastic is.Very durable and didn't lose air very much...you must ensure the valves are closed properly.Even so, it comes with an electric pump that works fast.

The pad is 1 inch thick and hard as a rock. Easy to setup and take down, but sags slightly in the middle. It does the job, but if you can afford to spend more, you may be better off. I don't know where they got "super comfort padded mattress" from, it's 1 inch thick foam over a plywood base.

I turned to Amazon for reviews, read the reviews here and decided on this mattress top.Thank all of you who placed reviews here!I am delighted with my choice.No more pressure points.Very little tossing and turning.No bad foam rubber odor.Very, very comfortable.This pad will not turn a worn out old mattress into a new one, but if you have a good supportive mattress that is just a bit uncomfortable, this is a really good thing.UPDATE:April 27, 2011.This pad is just as good as it was when new.It is not showing any wear after three years of use.

This fits perfectly, lost its weird odor in about two days, and is cooler than just my unpadded mattress. since my daughter spends so many hours in her bed, i wanted a mattress cover that i was confident wouldn't have any off-gassing of chemicals that she would be breathing through the night. this is not a cheap product, but was worth it for the peace of mind. we've only been using it a couple months, but it is high quality and seems very durable. also, it's soft and doesn't make any crinkly noises like some of the vinyl pads.

I searched high and low for a non-plastic, organic mattress pad for my toddler, and this was the best I could find.I do wish they would create a fitted version.This pad goes just over the edges of a normal sized twin mattress.The pad is made of thick material, so this fits awkwardly even under a thick sheet.Nevertheless, it is comfortable to lay on, and doesn't crunch like plastic.It also hasn't shifted around like I feared it might.My daughter has had one accident on it so far.The accident definitely wet the pad, so it's not exactly waterproof, but it did not leak through to the mattress.
