I searched a long time for a waterproof matress pad that was safe, didn't emit any toxins and didn't make rustling noises.Let me tell you, this is it.It's great, it provides great protection for our new matress, it's soft and safe.I was a little worried that that it doesn't go down the sides of the matress and only secures with the elastic straps, but it fits great and stays in place.I loved the first one so much I purchased a 2nd.It is expensive and it takes a few runs in the dryer to dry fully, but it seems to be of great quality and I expect it will last a long time.
